Job DescriptionSummary
The Assembly Specialist is responsible for assembling product according to Stäubli specifications both individually, and in teams. This will require using basic hand tools and referencing manufacturing documentation on a daily basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Manual assembly and or kitting of Stäubli product
• Operate one or more production cells stations
• Direct and assist temporary workers with assembly techniques of Stäubli product
• Perform repetitive assembly tasks
• Utilize different hand tools & basic measurement devices on a daily basis
• Reference basic assembly documents and tables related to the job
• Work with semi-automated assembly equipment
• Package and transfer product to the warehouse
• Complete all paperwork related to the job and record through put, scrap, downtime and inventory needed for each machine as applicable
• Work within the computer system to issue and complete production orders
• Maintain a general knowledge of standard work practices as applicable to the position
• Perform all daily tasks and responsibilities with limited supervision
• Work with engineers and technicians to improve manufacturability of various designs
• Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and stand for extended periods of time
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

• Maintain a high standard of quality through all aspects of the job
• Be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
• Be a team player willing to assist where needed and be a self- starter
• Have good communication skills to work effectively with engineering and quality
• Have the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide and perform basic mathematical calculations such as ratios, percentages and rates
Education and/or Experience
• High school level education or GED
• Soldering skills and experience in a production environment a plus
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office, ERP Software (SAP)
