ABOUT THIS JOB
Nielsen’s Corporate Platforms organization is looking for a SQL and .Net Senior Developer to work on internal Business Management Systems. In this role you will be part of a team to help provide support and enhance existing web based business management applications
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Help ensure high availability of existing web applications.
- Help diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Help migrate existing on prem web applications to Cloud technology.
- Optimize application and database performance.
- Provide support to end-users.
- Write complex queries.
- Exposure to Servicenow and Jira is desirable.
- Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and propose solutions to problems encountered by users
Must Have
- 3+ years SQL Development (Microsoft SQL preferred but not necessary)
- 3+ years Microsoft ASP.Net Web Applications (Web Forms and MVC)
- Some Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS or Azure)
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good Communication Skills (Verbal and Written)
- Ability to manage time wisely
- Ability to work with various users regarding support and problem solving
Nice to Have
- Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Python Development
- Experience with Postgres
- Agile Experience (using Jira to track user stories and completion)
- Some Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Some Experience Leading Projects
- Some Experience with CRM systems
- XML Web Services (SOAP, REST, JSON)
- Google Tools (Sheets, Documents, Drive, etc.)
- Experience with GIT Code Repositories
- Experience with Internet Information Server (IIS)
- Revenue Cycle Projects (contracts - CLM, CPQ, ordering, billing, revenue planning
