- Planned and executed overall operational planning to ensure smooth mill performance in line with production targets and company objectives.
- Assisted the Mill Manager in overseeing daily mill operations to ensure efficient processing, optimal throughput, and strict compliance with company SOPs and safety standards.
- Coordinated and monitored logistics activities, including raw material intake scheduling, finished goods dispatch, and liaison with transporters to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Supervised operational workforce and contractors to ensure manpower efficiency, work discipline, and adherence to safety and operational requirements.
- Implemented operational improvements to enhance productivity, reduce downtime, and optimize machinery and equipment utilization.
- Monitored production performance, stock levels, and operational KPIs, and prepared detailed reports for management review and decision-making.
- Ensured compliance with statutory regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements (including internal and external audits).
- Acted as the coordination point between operations, maintenance, logistics, procurement, government authorities, and Head Office to resolve operational matters effectively.
- Actively involved in mill procurement processes, including PR preparation, vendor coordination, evaluation of quotations, and ensuring timely delivery of critical operational items.
- Led and supported mill improvement projects, demonstrating leadership capability in cross-functional initiatives
