Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Conservation, Museology, Art History, or a related field.
Working knowledge of conservation principles, material care, and artwork handling, storage, and documentation practices.
Familiarity with inventory management systems, condition reporting, and basic environmental monitoring standards.
1–3 years of hands-on experience in art conservation or collection care.
Basic understanding of preventive conservation and material care.
Experience with documentation, cataloguing, and archival systems.
Familiarity with handling a range of materials (paintings, paper, textiles, etc.).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Good written communication skills for documentation and content support.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision.
An effective team worker who shows initiative and takes ownership of the role.
Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients, colleagues, and management.
Problem-solving mindset with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting.
Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary.
