ASEAN Account Manager – Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur)Join a high-performing, globally distributed team helping financial institutions combat fraud through cutting-edge solutions and strategic sales execution. Our team is driving growth across ANZ, ASEAN, MEA, and Europe, with a strong focus on innovation, collaboration, and commercial impact.
We’re looking for a driven ASEAN Account Manager based in Kuala Lumpur to spearhead growth across Malaysia and support broader ASEAN initiatives. This role is ideal for a proactive, results-oriented professional with deep knowledge of the Malaysian financial services landscape and a passion for solving complex challenges through technology.
What you will do- Identify and close new business opportunities with banks, fintech’s, and financial institutions across Malaysia
- Build and manage a strong pipeline through strategic prospecting, networking, and targeted outreach
- Lead client engagements, discovery sessions, and solution-led sales presentations
- Collaborate with marketing and BD teams to execute localized ABM campaigns and go-to-market strategies
- Navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and regulatory considerations
- Partner with Product, Delivery, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction
- Share market insights and competitive intelligence to inform product development and positioning
- Proven track record in managing complex enterprise accounts and closing high-value deals
- 7+ years of enterprise sales experience, ideally in SaaS, fintech, or fraud/risk/compliance solutions
- Proven success in closing high-value deals and exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of the Malaysian financial services ecosystem, including regulatory frameworks and digital transformation trends
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Self-starter with a hunter mindset and a passion for driving commercial impact
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and modern sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger, SPIN)
