We are seeking an Applied AI Engineer with strong software engineering skills and demonstrated experience building and operating production generative AI systems. You will lead the design and implementation of AI-native architectures, create scalable APIs and web services, and drive best practices for deploying secure, observable AI solutions that deliver measurable business value.

What You Will DoDesign and develop production-ready AI applications integrating LLMs and generative models, making key technical decisions on system design and tooling
Lead implementation of AI context engineering strategies and AI agent architectures
Own end-to-end delivery of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and deployment workflows for model artifacts and services
Drive reliability and observability standards: define monitoring, alerting, and logging strategies; lead incident triage and root-cause analysis for AI services
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, data engineering, and platform teams to integrate AI solutions into existing workflows and feature pipelines
Contribute to team standards, code reviews, and technical documentation
Produce and maintain clear documentation, reproducible experiments, and reusable code to support long-term maintainability and knowledge sharing
3+ years of software engineering experience, with 1+ years focused on AI/ML systems in production environments
Strong Python expertise; proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript for frontend or service integration
Proven experience designing, deploying, and maintaining RESTful APIs and web services at scale
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP acceptable)
Demonstrated experience with production support: monitoring, triage, incident response, and post-mortem analysis
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; experience working with and influencing cross-functional teams
Track record of independently driving projects from concept through production deployment
Experience building generative AI solutions (LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases such as Azure AI Search)
Experience with FastAPI, React, and Azure Cosmos DB or similar technology stacks
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM) and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
Experience with automated testing of ML pipelines, model governance, and MLOps best practices
Experience mentoring team members or leading technical initiatives
