Art Director
Our brand is evolving, and we're looking for a strategic, hands-on Art Director to own its visual identity and bring it to life across every channel we touch. If you love the mix of setting creative vision and getting into the weeds of production — and you want your work to actually move the needle on how a growing company shows up in the market — this is built for you.
You'll report to the Head of Brand and partner closely with the broader Marketing team (content, events, social, demand gen) plus external agencies and freelancers. You'll set the creative bar, provide art direction across every deliverable, and make sure the work isn't just polished — it's strategically sound and unmistakably on-brand.
What you'll do
- Own and evolve our brand identity — setting creative vision and standards across digital, print, and video, and building templates/systems that scale as the team grows.
- Translate brand strategy into concepts other designers can run with, then shape that direction from first sketch to final execution.
- Art-direct a wide range of work — brochures, event materials, website, social, digital campaigns, presentations, video — reviewing and elevating output from designers, agencies, and freelancers.
- Mentor designers on craft, brand integrity, and creative problem-solving, with feedback that's direct and actionable.
- Keep the bar high on craft, detail, and consistency across everything that goes out the door.
- Present concepts and creative rationale to stakeholders in a way that balances big creative swings with business reality.
What you bring
- A strong portfolio showing both conceptual range and hands-on production craft across digital and print — link required.
- 8–12+ years of experience in-house, at an agency, or in a fast-paced B2B/B2C environment, with time spent directing or mentoring other designers.
- A track record of turning brand strategy into concepts others can execute, and the confidence to sell that thinking to stakeholders and leadership.
- Sharp fundamentals — typography, layout, color, photography, production.
- Experience building brand systems/templates that create efficiency at scale.
- Fluency with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and PowerPoint.
- Hands-on experience with motion graphics and video.
