Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Available for call as requested. Applies appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
QualificationsRegistered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology, or, if hired prior to 1996, have completed an ARRT approved school of radiologic technology and has enough years of experience to meet the minimum performance standards developed by the department. If eligible for ARRT(R), must acquire ARRT(R) within specified guidelines of ARRT.
Skills Required
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- If hired prior to 1996, completion of an ARRT-approved radiologic technology program and sufficient experience to meet departmental performance standards
- If eligible for ARRT(R), must obtain ARRT certification within specified ARRT guidelines
- Ability to perform radiographic imaging and demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention at practitioner request
- Apply appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful procedure completion
- Available for on-call duties as requested
