You lead the security function and establish the standards and guidelines to maximize security to our people, products, and premises at the business unit level. To protect our people, products and premises, you provide risk-based guidance and strategic support.
How you will contribute
To execute the strategic components of our global security program, you will develop and implement the plan and provide guidance to business unit leaders to execute the strategic components of the global security program. You will lead the efforts to identify, develop, implement, and maintain security processes, practices, policies and relevant training's throughout the organization to reduce risks, respond to incidents, and limit exposure and liability in all areas of information, assets and resources, financial, physical, personal, and reputation risk. You will also direct and/or conduct the approach, deployment and execution of confidential or time sensitive investigations.

- The Area Security Manager serves as the senior security and investigations leader in SACEA. The Area Security Manager counsels and influences area, country, category and functional management on all security-related matters.
- The Area Security Manager develops strategies to counter risks, gains buy-in and support from appropriate management, oversees implementation of security programs across the area, and confirms the effectiveness of these initiatives and strategies.
- The Area Security Manager oversees the implementation and subsequent execution of the security audit program in commercial business units and manufacturing facilities within area of responsibility.
- Leads area efforts in identifying, developing, implementing, and maintaining security processes, practices, and policies throughout the organization to reduce risks, respond to incidents, and limit exposure and liability in all areas of information, financial, assets, physical, personal, and reputation risk.
- Through a network of facility security coordinators, coordinates and implements site security, operations, and activities to ensure protection of executives, employees, customers, stakeholders, visitors, etc. and physical and information assets, while ensuring optimal use of personnel and resources.\
- Directs, coordinates and/or conducts the approach, deployment and execution of confidential or time sensitive investigations.
- Externally, develops relationships with high-level law enforcement and international counterparts to include in-country security and area security agencies, intelligence and private sector counterparts throughout the area of responsibility.
- Internally, develops networks and strategies throughout all functions and levels to influence, convince and drive global security initiatives. Briefs executive management on the status of security issues emerging threats.
- Acts as an internal advisor in response to requests assistance for the research and deployment of state-of-the-art security technology solutions and innovative security management techniques.
- Directs and manages a comprehensive supply chain security program to protect operations and products while ensuring brand integrity. Provides consulting and services to minimize supply chain losses, brand erosion and illicit product availability in the marketplace.
- Responsible for executive protection and travel programs to include personal protection, corporate facilities, residence, airfield and event security, ground and air transportation, protocol, personal assistance and special projects.
- Manages contracts with security service vendors for guarding operations, technology applications and specialized consulting and investigative support.
- Ensures regulatory compliance, adherence to security standards using ongoing tracking, reporting and audit processes.
- In cooperation with the responsible GIS leads, serve in a supporting role regarding intellectual property and data security issues.
