ARCS- Principal Technical Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation and Configuration:
Assist in the configuration and implementation of Oracle ARCS to meet the specific needs of the organization.
Ensure smooth deployment of ARCS across financial teams, integrating with other Oracle EPM/ERP modules.
Work closely with stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into system specifications and configurations.
Data Migration and Integration:
Lead or assist with migrating legacy data into ARCS, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
Set up integration points between ARCS and other enterprise systems like Oracle ERP, financial systems, and reporting platforms.
Reconciliation Process Optimization:
Provide recommendations on improving reconciliation processes and controls, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
Help design workflows, approvals, and automated reconciliation processes using ARCS functionality.
Training and Support:
Train users on ARCS functionality and best practices to ensure smooth adoption across the organization.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting, ensuring that the tool is functioning effectively and any issues are resolved promptly.
Reporting and Analytics:
Set up custom reporting and dashboards within ARCS to enable users to monitor reconciliation progress and compliance.
Assist in the analysis of reconciliation data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
Compliance and Auditing:
Ensure that the reconciliation processes comply with industry standards and regulations.
Prepare documentation and reports for internal and external audits, ensuring that the reconciliation data is fully traceable and auditable.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
Collaborate with finance, IT, and other business units to ensure the solution meets all requirements and aligns with overall business goals.
EPBCS - Principal Technical Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design: Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into EPBCS solutions. Design planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes that align with organizational goals and financial best practices.
EPBCS Configuration: Configure EPBCS application components, including dimensions, forms, business rules, calculations, data mappings, and security settings. Develop and maintain EPBCS metadata and planning applications to ensure accurate and efficient data consolidation and reporting.
Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources (e.g., ERP systems, data warehouses) into EPBCS to facilitate the budgeting and planning process. Develop data mappings, data load rules, and integration scripts as needed.
Business Rules and Calculations: Create and manage business rules and calculations within EPBCS to support complex budgeting and forecasting requirements. Optimize rules for performance and accuracy.
Report Development: Design and build financial reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using EPBCS reporting tools. Ensure that reports provide meaningful insights and support decision-making processes.
User Training and Support: Conduct user training sessions to educate finance and business users on how to use EPBCS effectively. Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot issues related to EPBCS functionality and data.
Performance Optimization: Monitor and tune the EPBCS application for optimal performance. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure timely data processing and reporting.
Security Management: Implement security controls within EPBCS to ensure data confidentiality and integrity. Define user roles and access levels based on business requirements.
Version Management: Coordinate and manage EPBCS updates and new releases. Test and validate changes before promoting them to the production environment.
Best Practices and Standards: Stay updated with the latest EPBCS features, industry best practices, and financial regulations. Apply these knowledge to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the EPBCS solution.

Skills Required
- Any Degree (Computer Science)
- Hands-on experience implementing and configuring Oracle ARCS
- Hands-on experience implementing and configuring EPBCS (Oracle EPM Cloud Planning)
- Experience integrating ARCS/EPBCS with Oracle ERP and other financial systems
- Experience with data migration, data load rules, and ensuring data integrity
- Ability to design reconciliation workflows, approvals, and automated reconciliation processes
- Experience developing business rules, calculations, and performance tuning in EPBCS
- Experience building financial reports, dashboards, and visualizations in EPBCS/ARCS
- Experience providing user training, support, and troubleshooting for EPM applications
- Knowledge of compliance, auditing, and documentation requirements for reconciliation processes
