Responsibilities
- Design Leadership:
- Lead and manage architectural design projects, ensuring innovative and compliant solutions that meet client needs.
- Develop design concepts, schematics, design development documents, and construction drawings.
- Integrate sustainable design principles and latest technologies into project solutions.
- Project Management:
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources from initial design through project completion.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to local, state, and federal building codes and industry regulations.
- Team Mentorship and Development:
- Mentor and provide leadership to junior architects and design teams, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular reviews of design work, offering constructive feedback and promoting professional development.
- Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients throughout project phases, managing expectations and delivering exceptional service.
- Present design proposals and projects to internal stakeholders, clients, and community groups as required.
- Quality Control and Innovation:
- Ensure all projects meet the highest standards of design quality and craftsmanship.
- Stay current with industry trends, innovative design strategies, sustainable materials, and state-of-the-art technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Licensed Architect in the states of LA, TX
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in architectural design and project management.
- Proven track record managing large-scale projects with a demonstrated portfolio of innovative and high-quality designs.
- Expertise in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and construction administration.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic team environment.
- Commitment to sustainable design and innovative problem-solving.
