Your Role
As a Gensler Architect, you will assist in the design process, produce technical documentation, and coordinate with engineering consultant teams. Additionally, you will communicate project progress and coordination to team members to ensure successful project delivery. You’re a fit for this role if you have experience with construction documentation, construction administration, are proficient with Revit, and enjoy working with a team of architects and interior designers that bring design dreams to life. We are seeking an Architect with a design and technical mindset and a desire to learn, design and deliver Critical Facilities projects.
What You Will Do
- Design and deliver functional and beautiful spaces within the Education, Healthcare, Residential and Critical Facilities Practice Areas
- Lead project team coordination for finished plans, specifications, and material selections; ensure design intent is incorporated into the construction documentation
- Lead Coordination of the design with the consultant teams
- Produce accurate technical and contract documentation for construction
- Participate in construction administration, evaluate bids, conduct site visits, address technical issues, and maintain quality control during construction
- Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives
- Utilize 3D software renderings to communicate design concepts
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
- 6-10 years of experience within the commercial architecture and design field, with recent focus on project delivery of Education, Healthcare, Residential and Critical Facilities projects
- Knowledge of building codes, zoning, jurisdictional processes, building materials, specifications, and construction techniques is preferred
- Experience in construction document preparation and field observation is preferred
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and other 3D modeling software
- Successful completion of project types such as laboratories, data centers, command centers, high-tech‑ factories, and/or federal, state, and local government facility spaces
- Registered/Licensed Architect (RA) in the U.S., NCARB
- Commitment to resilience and sustainable building practices

Skills Required
