The Architect V is a senior individual contributor responsible for defining and driving technology strategy, architecture standards, and long-term technical direction across multiple products, platforms, or business domains. This role partners closely with Engineering, Product Management, Security, and Operations leadership to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.
The Architect V serves as a technical authority, influencing architecture decisions across multiple teams while mentoring engineers and promoting engineering excellence throughout the organization.
ResponsibilitiesArchitecture Leadership
- Define and maintain enterprise, platform, and solution architecture strategies.
- Develop target-state architectures and technology roadmaps that support business goals.
- Lead architecture reviews and provide governance for major technical initiatives.
- Ensure consistency of architectural patterns, engineering standards, and design principles.
Technical Strategy & Innovation
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
- Drive modernization initiatives including cloud adoption, platform evolution, AI integration, scalability improvements, and technical debt reduction.
- Establish long-term technical vision and prioritize foundational investments.
Solution Design
- Design end-to-end solutions for complex business and technical challenges.

- Experience designing highly scalable, mission-critical software platforms.
- Strong understanding of security, reliability, performance, and operational excellence.
- Proven ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams without direct authority.
