CSG is seeking a senior architect to shape the future of our application delivery and traffic management capabilities built on F5 BIG-IP technologies. This role provides enterprise-level design leadership for a highly scaled platform that protects, accelerates, and routes customer-facing services across global infrastructure.

The architect will define how application teams consume delivery and security services, guide the modernization of an environment with extensive traffic-control logic and web security policies, and ensure solutions remain dependable and secure as they evolve. Success requires deep F5 and networking mastery combined with software-driven automation thinking and a strong platform-builder orientation—creating reusable patterns, frameworks, and roadmaps that steadily transition complexity out of the appliance layer and into more sustainable architectures.

We are looking for Architect - Operational Engineering / Operational Engr Lead who will: 

• You will establish the long-term technical direction for F5-based traffic management and application protection services
• You will create reference designs, consumption models, and engineering guardrails for platform use
• You will design resilient, scalable, and secure delivery topologies supporting new and existing workloads
• You will review and approve significant designs involving traffic management, web security, or TLS termination
• You will provide architectural stewardship for large collections of traffic-control rules and configuration logic
• You will define decision criteria for placing logic in F5 versus application or upstream tiers
• You will lead initiatives to simplify and consolidate rule implementations through shared constructs and libraries
• You will define enterprise patterns for web application firewall policy structure and lifecycle
• You will align delivery architectures with organizational security models and regulatory obligations
• You will establish scalable approaches for certificate issuance, rotation, and key handling on the platform
• You will partner with security architects on threat modeling and layered control strategies involving delivery tiers
• You will direct and mentor a specialized team responsible for F5-based application delivery services

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8-10 years of operational core technical experience
• Experience with delivery platforms in SaaS, telecom, or large enterprises
• Familiarity with cloud traffic management or application gateway services
• Exposure to container ingress, service mesh, or API gateway ecosystems
• Relevant F5 or advanced networking/security certifications
• Experience leading delivery platform modernization or simplification programs
• Relevant F5 or networking certifications            
• Experience transitioning legacy delivery logic toward application or cloud layers
• F5 & Traffic Management Platforms
• Extensive experience administering F5 BIG-IP in large enterprise or SaaS environments
• Deep knowledge of local and global traffic management concepts
• Experience managing large bodies of traffic-control logic and policies
• Practical experience operating F5 web application firewall capabilities
• Strong background in TLS termination and certificate operations at scale
• Familiarity with redundant device clustering and failover architectures
• Solid expertise across core networking and transport protocols
