We are looking for a newly qualified Architect (or early-career Architect) to work on a high-profile heritage and conservation-led project.
The successful candidate will be an ambitious, motivated and creative individual with a keen interest in conservation and historic buildings, looking for a challenging and rewarding role within a collaborative team environment.
Candidates should ideally have some experience or demonstrable interest in:
  • Conservation, heritage projects or work with historic buildings
  • High-end bespoke residential projects (desirable)
  • Working through RIBA work stages, with strong attention to detail
You will be expected to contribute to the delivery of projects across all RIBA stages, including design development, technical detailing, and coordination with consultants and stakeholders. A working knowledge of traditional construction methods and materials would be advantageous.
Experience of ArchiCAD is beneficial but not essential, as training can be provided.

About
ADAM Architecture is a leading practitioner of traditional and progressive classical architecture and contextual urbanism in Europe. We are operated by an Executive Board of nine members, five of whom are Design Directors leading their own projects with their own design ethos, while all working together as experts in the field of Classical and Traditional architecture.  With studios in Winchester and London, the portfolio of projects covers a range of houses and buildings; these include new town and country houses, conversions, renovations and extensions, largely for private owners; historic buildings such as monuments, protected and Listed buildings; commercial and institutional buildings such as hotel, healthcare and office buildings; residential developments, masterplans and new urban designs ranging in size from small village extensions to major new developments.

Skills Required

  • Experience or demonstrable interest in conservation and heritage projects or historic buildings
  • Experience working through RIBA work stages with strong attention to detail
  • Experience of high-end bespoke residential projects
  • Working knowledge of traditional construction methods and materials
  • Experience of ArchiCAD
