We are looking for an Arabic Copywriter based in Riyadh who lives at the intersection of financial markets, cultural nuance, and persuasive writing. You will be the voice of Moomoo Arabia Capital — responsible for making our brand resonate with local investors, from first-time traders to experienced market participants.
This role is split across two core responsibilities:
1. Localization
Take English-language marketing materials produced by our global team and transform them into compelling Saudi Arabic — not translate, but **recreate** for the local context.
- Adapt brand campaigns, product messaging, and promotional content from English to Saudi Arabic - Ensure financial terminology is accurate, Shariah-sensitive where needed, and natural-sounding
- Maintain brand tone of voice ("confident, concise, never patronizing") while adapting to local cultural codes
- Challenge source copy when direct adaptation won't work — propose alternatives that achieve the same strategic intent
- Work closely with the China-based marketing team to bridge cultural and linguistic gaps
2. Original Content Creation
Produce original Arabic-first copy across the full spectrum of marketing channels and formats:
- Brand advertising: Headlines, taglines, and scripts for brand campaigns (OOH, video, social)
- Performance advertising: Short-form ad copy for Google, Twitter/X, TikTok, Snapchat, and Apple Search Ads
- KOL/Influencer: Video scripts and talking points for KOL collaborations
- Website & App: Landing pages, onboarding flows, feature descriptions, and in-app messaging
- SEO content: Blog posts, educational articles, and evergreen content optimized for Arabic search
- Social media: Organic posts, campaign copy, community engagement content
- CRM: Push notifications, email sequences, SMS — all in a tone that respects the user without being transactional
Requirements
Must-Have
- Native Arabic speaker & Fluent in English — you write in the dialect and register that resonates with young local professionals (not textbook MSA, not too colloquial) in KSA
- 3+ years of copywriting experience — preferably in fintech, investment platforms, banking, or trading-adjacent industries
- Strong understanding of stock/investment concepts — you know what a P/E ratio, an options chain, and an IPO subscription are, and you can write about them naturally
- Portfolio demonstrating range — from punchy ad headlines to long-form content
- Cultural fluency — you instinctively know what tone works in KSA (confident but not arrogant, informative but not condescending, aspirational but not detached)
Nice-to-Have
- Experienced in stock trading or equity investing
- Experience working with performance marketing teams (understanding of A/B testing copy, CTR optimization)
- Experience writing for video/short-form (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts)
- Previous work with a global brand adapting messaging for the Saudi market
- Understanding of CMA advertising regulations for financial products
