Job Summary
The position tracks and analyzes customer accounts and payments for the company. It ensures that transactions are accurately recorded. It supports internal sales teams and directly assists customers with all finance-related inquiries and issues within the company’s financial systems. Additionally, it is responsible for identifying and addressing discrepancies in customer payment records. Have review responsibilities of coworker work.
What you will do
- Independently reconcile complex accounts and support in resolving customer disputes promptly by collaborating with other departments within the company regarding invoices/billings or cash applications.
- Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of bank deposits, updating and distribution of cash receipt logs, and posting of cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger.
- Research unidentified receipts.
- Monitor the Daily AR inbox and Cash Apps inbox.
- Complex GL reconciliations.
- Manual Invoicing.
- Special Billings.
- Will be an expert resource for team members.
What you will have
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounts receivable management, preferably in a senior role.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Expertise in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a high volume of accounts receivable.
- Detail-oriented with multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
- Experience in driving process improvement.
