JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Summary:

The AR Claims Specialist is a key player in our Driven Brands Financial Operations Department and is an individual contributor to our financial success related to our Fleet and Insurance segment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and building strong relationships with our internal and external customers while providing them with the highest level of service. This is a highly visible role and requires excellent communication and organizational skills, perform daily tasks within SLA, and handle client escalations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.  

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepares account payable / receivable transactions from billing to collections daily.
• Processes vendor claims to ensure accuracy and timely payments. Review billing information in multiple systems.
• Completes upload into Oracle Financial system for AP / AR.
• Processes Chargebacks and Credit memos for vendors.
• Assist team members in daily tasks including customer inquiries and escalations.

Qualifications:

• Communication skills, a great attitude, and a team-focused mentality are critical attributes for success in this role. Self-motivated and self-directed; able to work without supervision
• Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in accounting shared services related role (accounts payable, accounts receivable experience preferred) 
• High school diploma  or higher educuation
• Intermediate skillset in Microsoft Office (Excel , Word , Outlook,) 
• Oracle Fusion Experience preferred
