How you’ll make an impact:This role's major focus is to provide support and oversight for the Accounts Receivable (AR) reporting and accounting activities performed for legal entities and representative offices in the EEMEA region. The role is pivotal for the successful execution of the annual sales targets and for the mitigation of credit risk.
This position works closely with EEMEA Finance and Customer Service, Business Shared Service and other regional support functions.
Support accounting activities for EEMEA legal entities (document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions)
Provide regular and ad-hoc Accounts Receivable reporting (incl. Bad Debt and Write-Off management) and interact with internal and external stakeholders in timely manner
Process customer receipt payments in JDE and monitors on-hold orders
Maintain customers’ accounts in JDE / SFDC
Actively support Credit management: take timely operative action as well as long-term focus to minimize DSO through cash collection efforts
Ensure monthly balance sheet reconciliations are prepared in an accurate manner
Audit: prepare all supporting information for the annual audit and liaise with external auditors as necessary
Internal control: ensure necessary internal accounting controls and procedures are in place to safeguard company assets
Support implementation of accounting and finance process improvements and projects
What you'll need (Required):
- Bachelor’s degree and work experience in Accounts Receivable
- Effective communication skills and awareness of cultural differences
- Good analytical skills and result orientation
- Proficiency in English
What else we look for (Preferred):
- Knowledge of MS Office, accounting/ERP systems (e.g. JD Edwards, SAP etc.)
- Ability to work following external and internal SOPs and standards
- Proactive approach to daily tasks and communication across region
- Experience in a multi-national, cross-functional environment
