Position Responsibilities:
- As a Senior Associate in Aprio’s Global Mobility Tax department, you will:
- Prepare US income tax returns for individuals, including but not limited to, inbound and outbound expatriates.
- Prepare tax equalization, tax hypothetical calculations, gross-up calculations, conduct tax briefings, etc.
- Research on various individual tax matters.
- Research on tax treaties along with drafting written memorandums
- Communicate with clients on tax issues.
- Work closely with partner/senior managers/managers on tax projects.
- Handle other assigned tasks.
Qualifications Needed:
- 3-5 years of recent experience in US Federal income tax consulting and compliance gained within public accounting, or related industry experience
- Experience in Global mobility tax, US individual income tax or US International informational reporting for complex international forms such as Form 5471, Form 8865, etc.
- Exceptional Verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of tax software and related technology
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Currently pursuing CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
