We are seeking a highly motivated individual with 3-5 years of Sales and Use Tax Experience to join our team as a Senior Sales and Use Tax Associate. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a remote team organization and is eager to take on new challenges. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Prepare workpapers and file state and local sales tax returns 
  • Conduct research on various indirect tax matters, including nexus and state filing requirements. 
  • Respond to notices received and participate in sales tax reviews. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment. 
  • A quick learner who can adapt to a fast-paced setting. 
  • General computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). 
  • A data-conscious individual willing to learn how systems/software integrate and produce information to verify data or identify anomalies. 
  • A proven track record of working independently with a strong sense of ownership. 
  • Responsible and reliable, capable of maintaining individual production while fostering a team atmosphere. 
  • Possess deductive reasoning and a growth mindset. 
  • Open to embracing new challenges and devising innovative solutions.
