Position Responsibilities:
- Facilitate routine New Hire Orientation sessions, often with large audiences of new Aprio team members across all levels and practices.
- Collaborate with L&D professionals and other departments to innovate and seek feedback from HR stakeholders, team members, and leaders to create a world class onboarding program.
- Communicate effectively with clarity, credibility, and timeliness with new hires, hiring managers, HR & TA, Finance, IT and other stakeholders regarding onboarding responsibilities, updates, and deadlines.
- Embed Aprio’s culture into new hires’ onboarding experience.
- Develop and update new hire orientation learning materials, welcome packets, guides, and presentations to ensure Aprio’s culture and processes are reflected accurately and thoughtfully.
- Act as the primary contact for new hires throughout their onboarding journey, sharing information and making connections within the firm.
- Demonstrates an interest in growing self, the L&D Department, and the firm.
- Complete onboarding tasks and forms, creating a seamless new hire experience from pre-day-one through their first 90 days.
- Be savvy with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite, LC Vista, and Workday, to accomplish work, support onboarding processes, and create efficiencies.
- Handle confidential applicant and new hire information with discretion.
- Create and distribute internal communications to announce new hires.
- Support other talent development programs and projects based on interest and as time permits.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills with a track record of effective collaboration in a dynamic, global setting, ideally within HR or professional services.
- Shows ability to handle multiple projects and competing priorities while balancing quality with on-time delivery.
- Adept at navigating change and working effectively in ambiguous environments; consistently delivers quality results with minimal oversight.
- Demonstrated ability to use new and existing technology, including Microsoft Office Suite, to accomplish assignments.
- Basic understanding of talent acquisition, onboarding, and Human Resources principles.
- Skilled at handling difficult situations while maintaining cultural and regional sensitivity.
- Experience using Workday is preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business, or Education is preferred.
