Join Aprio's Enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO) and you will help clients maximize their opportunities.  Aprio Advisory Group, LLC is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join their dynamic team.
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Analyst to help us drive our digital transformation and provide exceptional service to our clients and employees.  This team member will partner with the Merger Strong Start team to drive end-to-end delivery by flexing across business analysis, backlog management, agile facilitation, and stakeholder communication to ensure the highest-value work is clearly defined, prioritized, and delivered.

Position Responsibiltiies

  • Lead execution of analysis to identify potential growth opportunities for merged firms (i.e., from Propense.AI, practice-specific analyses). Partner across Aprio to pull in best possible thinking.
  • Leverage analyses to help lead working sessions with merged firm leaders and partner base to assess potential opportunities and align on focus areas for Year 1 or Year 2 Merger Strong Start growth plans.
  • Support development of Strong Start growth plans for each merged firm based on summarizing these focus areas and ensuring owners (merged firm and Aprio SMEs) and clear next steps and timeline.
  • Support refinement of processes and dashboards/reports to monitor and ensure execution against Strong Start growth plans - e.g., monthly Strong Start revenue tracker with Finance, HubSpot summary reports.
  • Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable user stories, functional requirements, and supporting documentation.
  • Proactively identify gaps, risks, and process improvements, and step into project coordination or delivery roles when needed.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and technology adoption, and develop business cases to support these initiatives.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes, systems, and data to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and communicate effectively to ensure alignment of priority and drive adoption of changes.
  • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in relevant technologies and industry trends, and provide thought leadership and guidance to the organization.
  • Work with the ePMO and all cross functional teams across Aprio to drive continuous improvement.
  • Work with all levels of the organization to introduce, design, and implement changes in business processes and application practices.
  • Apply system analysis techniques and procedures including interviewing various resources to gather required information, analyzing and documenting requirements.
  • Be a trusted application advisor for development initiatives by providing objective, practical and relevant ideas, insights and advice.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of related experience.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to build consensus and drive change.
  • Hands-on experience working with agile teams, including backlog management and continuous delivery models (Kanban experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong understanding of agile principles and the ability to adapt practices pragmatically to fit team and organizational needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize work in fast-changing environments with competing demands.
  • Skilled at influencing without authority and driving alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Keen attention to detail, problem-solving and strong analytical skills.
  • Experience documenting processes and practices, often in accepted project methodology artifacts, while effectively prioritizing multiple tasks, priorities, projects, and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills, and experience with project management software and data visualization tools.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Office 365, including Power BI, Power Automate, Forms, SharePoint, and Power Apps.
  • Project management software experience, such as ClickUp, including the ability to create and manage tasks, timelines, and resources.
  • Consulting experience beneficial.
