Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Apptio Developer who possesses a strong technical background coupled with a business focused mindset. Candidate must be passionate about design, implement and support Apptio SaaS solutions and dedicated to aligning applications with business objectives. The primary focus of this role is to drive technical solutions for Finance teams’ business requirements by designing and implementing innovative application solutions. Candidate should have extensive experience to lead the design and development of Apptio applications.Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Finance business stakeholders, Finance Operations managers and interfacing platform stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Design and develop Apptio application Solutions that align with business objectives and promote a culture of continuous improvement, identify areas for improvement and developing and implementing solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring the successful implementation and support of Apptio applications.
- Provide technical expertise and support for Apptio-related issues, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
- Work closely with cross functional teams to integrate APIs and manage API gateways to support business requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and product owners to prioritize and roadmap application initiatives based on business value and strategic objectives.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments of the application to ensure alignment to system performance, availability, and provide root cause analysis and resolution.
- Implement security measures to protect applications from potential vulnerabilities.
- Act as a subject matter expert on Apptio design / development principles, methodologies and frameworks. Demonstrate determination to overcome obstacles and get results.
- Actively participate in Workplace SAFe Agile Release Train.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information technology or related field.
- Proven experience as an Apptio Developer, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in development and support. Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming
- Extensive knowledge and experience in designing and implementing Apptio applications.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript and one or more modern JavaScript UI frameworks (e.g. React, Angular) and REST APIs
- Extensive hands-on experience with design, development and implementation of relational databases, schema design, SQL who can demonstrate computer science literacy: algorithms, data structures.
- Solid understanding of test-driven development and frameworks (e.g. JUnit) and DevOps Model.
- Proficiency in API gateways and API management with hands-on experience in API integration and management platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent problem solving, ideation and analytical skills, with the ability to make technical decisions that align with business objectives.
- Experience working in a remote environment and comfortable with US shift timings.
