The career path

Stibo Systems’ India Technology Consulting team’s primary objective is to develop, manage and advise on technical solutions - from qualification of requirements all the way through the delivery and implementation of the software related to Stibo Systems’ Master Data Management platform (STEP). Our technical solutions and advisory services are usually accompanied by the delivery of implementation services.

We are seeking university graduates with experience in Java technology stack development. The role involves developing and delivering customer-centric solutions on our STEP product. The position is based in our Bengaluru office, working within an international team and in close cooperation with Stibo Systems’ subject matter experts.

More specifically, you will:

• You will be responsible for both software development and technical consultancy 
• Deliver high quality custom development solutions in line with defined customer requirements and Stibo standards
• Resolve complex technical tasks writing secure, reliable, scalable and maintainable code.
• You will ensure quality of deliverables remains in line with agreed standards within scope and budget
• Implement and execute relevant Unit & Integration tests; debug and resolve technical problems that arise
   

Technologies includes

• Must be hands on with Core Java
• Exposure to XML, XSLT, JSON, JavaScript ES5/6, HTML5 and CSS will be plus.
• Experience working with any IDE

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation in Computer Science or Information Science disciplines
• Applicants must have an awareness of industry’s current and emerging technology trends and direction, as well as a keen interest in computer-based information systems and technology

• Candidate should demonstrate proficiency in using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or Claude, and be capable of integrating them into everyday workflows to enhance productivity.

Moreover:

• You must have an analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
• You can focus and drive results both as a team player as well as an individual
• You must have hunger to learn and keep yourself updated with emerging trends
• You have strong communication skills, both verbally and written. 
• English business language proficiency is a must
• Prioritize tasks and efficiently manage time
