Apprentice - Supplier management and Administration

Job Summary:

This is a role, which sits within the operations office. This is a new role within the organization and will provide procurement and supplier management services to key stakeholders within the business. The role after training and introduction will be responsible for supporting all aspects of procurement and supplier management which includes processing through an agreed set of supplier relationships, supporting contract tender processes, supporting supplier and contract management processes. The role will include other operational aspects such as Order management support, Logistics support, export and imports support, Project management support and financial topics.

Job Description:

* Performs a structured vocational training in a specified administrative functional area.

* Performs all operations, measures, activities and tasks as assigned by accountable management or supervisor.

* Learns and acquires respective theory and know how, techniques, methods, tools and processes, in the respective area.

* Supports other qualified staff in their tasks and accountabilities.

Key requirements:

* Good Math’s and English competence

* Attention to detail

* Drive and enthusiasm to work both in a team and alone

* Knowledge of Microsoft office (word and excel) would be advantageous

This role will either be a day release at college /university or work-based apprenticeship. This is depended on the successful candidate.

No prior knowledge or experience is necessary, but a keen interest in the subject would be advantageous.
