We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed individual interested in commencing a Fitter & Turner Apprenticeship.
How you will contribute
You will:
Work both in a team and independently to conduct breakdown repairs, preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and general engineering improvements with a focus on maximizing production up-time and optimizing reliability.
The successful applicant will work in a wide range of manufacturing and engineering environments, including general maintenance, installation, and fault-finding, while maintaining a clean, professional, and safe workplace in line with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP).
What you will bring:
- A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of workplace safety and HSE
- Certificate II (Pre-apprenticeship) preferred but not essential
- Technical aptitude (advantageous)
- Familiarity with food safety (advantageous)
