Apprentice, ESG & Sustainability

Are you a curious mind with an interest in technology, sustainability, and making a real impact? Do you enjoy researching, communicating, and turning ideas into action? Then you may like an apprenticeship within our ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) team at Stibo.
 

You will be part of our Shared Service Center, supporting the two Stibo software companies. The Shared Service Center provides essential services such as network, licenses, finance, helpdesk, ESG & Sustainability, compliance, and risk management - ensuring the business can operate efficiently and focus on growth, innovation, and delivering value to customers.
As part of the one year apprenticeship starting August 2026, you’ll embark on an exciting development journey where you can expect meaningful responsibilities, mentoring from day one, a global network, access to e‑learning, and hands‑on experience across sustainability, technology, and business.

In addition to the above, we offer a stipend of 350,000 INR annually.

Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility are embedded in how Stibo operates and develops its business. In this apprenticeship, you will support initiatives across environmental sustainability, social responsibility, diversity & inclusion, and corporate social engagement (CSR) - while working closely with stakeholders across the organization.

Positioned in our Bengaluru office, you will contribute to both local and global sustainability initiatives and help strengthen how we measure, communicate, and improve our impact. This role is ideal for someone who is curious about new technology (including Gen AI), interested in sustainability topics, and motivated by creating positive change.

Some of your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting the transition to AI for sustainability, including efficient use of Gen AI
• Participating in sustainability‑related conferences and networks
• Supporting ESG data collection and sustainability reporting
• Assisting with sustainability projects, campaigns, and awareness activities
• Supporting volunteering and CSR initiatives
• Researching sustainability frameworks, regulations, and carbon reduction opportunities
• Supporting diversity & inclusion initiatives and internal communication
• Helping organize knowledge‑sharing sessions and sustainability events

This is what we imagine you bring:

• Business‑level English (written and spoken)
• Recently graduated (2025-2026) or about to complete your studies within sustainability, environmental studies, business, social sciences, communications, or a related field.
• Basic technical and computer skills (e.g. MS Office, SharePoint, Copilot or similar tools)
• A proactive mindset and ability to take initiative independently
• Strong communication skills
• Curiosity about new technologies and knowledge areas
• Interest in environmental sustainability, social sustainability, diversity, and CSR

You do not need to know everything from day one - we are committed to supporting your learning throughout the apprenticeship.
