The Applied R&D Engineer conducts target-oriented research to directly apply findings to the specification, design, further development, and incremental improvement of products, services, systems, tools, processes, etc. Integrates, verifies, tests, and modifies SW / HW / system components and capitalises on innovative solutions to meet particular requirements and specifications.
Responsibilities- Understand the customer requirement, design the functional architecture, develop & feature testing of the code. trouble shoot the issue and provide the fix, Code review, quality adherence.

You have:
- 5–8 years of experience in embedded Linux and software development for telecom and handheld devices, preferably in the broadband or networking products sector.
- Exposure & Experience in prpl / openwrt system
- Experience and exposure to L3 - L7 protocols like TCP, DHCP, NTP, etc.
- Hands on in AI based coding / review is added advantage.
It would be nice if you also had:
- Deep Knowledge in new protocols and technologies, including ARM/MIPS architecture, embedded Linux development, and advanced debugging tools.
- Experience in designing and documenting feature architectures and specifications, contributing to the development of robust solutions.
