Intrum AI defines how AI solutions are built, governed, and scaled responsibly across the Group. We advise senior leadership on AI strategy and execution while developing scalable capabilities that enable Intrum to deploy solutions sustainably across markets.
We are hiring Applied AI Engineers across multiple seniority levels - from strong individual contributors to senior technical leaders.
What will you do:
As an Applied AI Engineer, you will design, build, and scale AI-powered solutions operating in production environments across multiple countries. This role combines hands-on engineering with cross-functional collaboration in a regulated enterprise setting.
You will contribute to both solution delivery and the broader standardization of how AI is industrialized across Intrum.
Senior-level candidates are expected to influence architectural direction, define technical standards, and act as trusted advisors across markets.
- Design and implement AI-driven solutions and workflows.
- Integrate LLMs and other AI services into enterprise production systems.
- Develop reusable solution patterns and shared components.
- Partner with the Infrastructure / LLMOps team to operationalize AI solutions, including model and prompt deployment, observability, evaluation frameworks, governance, cost control, and reliability at scale.
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AI services and artifacts, including automated testing, evaluation gates, versioning (code, configuration, prompts), and controlled promotion across environments.
- Collaborate with local market teams to enable scalable, repeatable deployments.
- Contribute to engineering standards and best practices for AI at scale, including security, compliance, monitoring, and release processes
What we’re looking for:
- Strong software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience building and operating production-grade systems.
- Exposure to AI/ML or LLM-based solution development.
- Experience working in structured, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Strong communication skills and a high level of ownership.

- Lead architectural design and contribute to technical standard-setting.
- Demonstrated track record delivering AI solutions in production.
- Advise and guide cross-market implementations.
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Influence engineering and business stakeholders on AI design and scaling decisions.
