  • Blockchain Fundamentals:

    • Network Architectures: Familiarity with different blockchain network types (public, private, consortium) and their operational implications.
    • Cryptocurrency Basics: Knowledge of cryptographic hashing, digital signatures, public-key cryptography, and their application in blockchain.
  • Platform Expertise:
    • Specific Blockchain Protocols: Hands-on experience with popular blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Corda, Solana, Avalanche, Binance Smart Chain). This includes understanding their architecture, smart contract languages (e.g., Solidity for Ethereum), and client software (e.g., Geth, Parity).
    • Wallet Management: Knowledge of various wallet types (hot, cold, hardware, software) and best practices for their security and management.
    • Node Operations: Experience in deploying, configuring, and maintaining blockchain nodes (validator nodes, full nodes, light nodes).
  • Smart Contracts:
    • Deployment and Interaction: Ability to deploy and interact with smart contracts on various networks.
    • Troubleshooting: Understanding common smart contract issues and how to diagnose them (e.g., gas limits, transaction failures, reentrancy attacks, oracle dependencies).
    • Security Audits: Basic understanding of smart contract security vulnerabilities and audit reports.
      System Administration & DevOps:
      • Operating Systems: Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments for server management.
      • Containerization & Orchestration: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deploying and managing blockchain applications and nodes.
      • Cloud Platforms: Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) for deploying and scaling blockchain infrastructure.
      • Networking: Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and secure network configurations relevant to distributed systems.
    • Monitoring & Alerting:
      • Blockchain Explorers: Proficiency in using blockchain explorers (e.g., Etherscan) for transaction analysis and network monitoring.
      • Specialized Tools: Experience with blockchain-specific monitoring tools and metrics for node health, transaction throughput, and network congestion.
      • General Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with traditional monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK stack) for infrastructure and application performance.
