JOB DESCRIPTION
The Applications Lead – Custom Applications oversees a portfolio of custom-built web applications, providing technical and team leadership to ensure successful delivery and ongoing improvement. This role manages Agile delivery, collaborates with stakeholders, and ensures secure, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead delivery, support, and maintenance of custom web applications, with an emphasis on engineering and ITC solutions.
Oversee Agile processes, including release management, sprint planning, and Scrum ceremonies.
Manage project timelines, scope, and stakeholder expectations; coach and mentor team members.
Guide technical decisions related to cloud architecture (preferably Azure), databases, and system integrations.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years in IT with proven experience leading custom web application projects.
Agile/Scrum delivery experience (Scrum Master certification preferred).
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and low-code platforms (e.g., Mendix) is a plus.
Experience with AI tools and emerging technologies is advantageous.
Key Skills: Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to deliver complex projects in a large IT environment.
