Flowserve is looking for a technically and commercially experienced salesperson in the office (Applications Engineer). In this function you will develop solutions for customers and partners for industrial and special applications.
You will act as a product specialist (Pump product portfolio) in a team and work closely with the sales, development, and other specialist departments at the site.
Your role:
Prepare quotations by evaluating customers’ pump requirements and provide quotation responses by sizing, specifying and pricing pumps in accordance with customers’ specifications
Prepare technically sound and cost-effective quotations, in order to contribute to obtaining related sales and bookings growth
Prepare detailed, complete and correct purchase order transfer files for proper transfer into our respective manufacturing operations
Participate in bid clarification meetings with the customers (international travel required)
Develop a keen understanding of the Flowserve pump product lines and their respective operations to enhance application engineering, quotation generation and sales support efforts
Your profile:
BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 3-5 years relevant experience
Experience as an Applications Engineer or similar role such as, inside Sales Representative, Engineer
Good communication skills
Strong technician acumen and analytical thinking
SAP knowledge Experience in dealing with common MS Office applications
