The Senior Applications Engineer creates reference designs that are used to promote the company’s products, instructs customers in the most effective use of those products, and guarantees the success of the customer’s system. Description of Job/ Duties and Responsibilities:

In the role of Senior Applications Engineer, your immediate responsibilities include:

- Working independently on application circuits of power products

- DC/DC power supply troubleshooting support

- Developing demonstration circuits for power products

- Organizing user guides and datasheets for power products

- Performing thorough new product evaluations and road test plans

- Developing design/simulation tools/circuits such as LTspice

- Supporting existing products for field applications engineers and customers

- Provide technical writing, presentations, and trainings

Required Skills:

Must be familiar with design and applications of power supply and protection devices, switch mode DC/DC power converters, circuit simulation, PCB layout and circuit testing. Require good communication skills and ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Minimum BSEE degree is required, with MSEE or higher preferred. 5+ year experience with switching mode DC/DC power converter designs. Must have experience in board layout, debug, optimization, and power calculations. Ability to communicate clearly with applications, marketing, field sales engineers, and customers is preferred.
