Job Description
- Generate and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for customer orders, including General Arrangement Drawings (GAD), Pneumatic/Electrical Schematics, and Valve Actuation Timing Calculations.
- Develop and manage engineering documentation for core products, including detailed Manufacturing Drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Provide technical and commercial expertise to the Inside sales and Sales teams during the Quotation/tendering phase.
- Analyse customer specifications to validate product alignment with project requirements and ensure technical compliance.
- Offer dedicated technical support to factory operations, addressing issues related to manufacturing, production, topworks assembly, and quality control
- Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve complex technical challenges and streamline production data
- Actively manage and execute task schedules to ensure the punctual completion of all assigned engineering duties.
- Uphold a high standard of quality for all deliverables, ensuring precision in drawings and BOM accuracy.
- Manage and process Order Change Component Requests (OCCR) and subsequent BOM updates to ensure design integrity throughout the product lifecycle.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or equivalent technical degree with 3-8 years of related engineering experience.
- Prior experience using 2D and 3D CAD software(Solid works/Edge and AUTO CAD).
- Microsoft Office and general computer proficiency.
- Effective oral and written communications skills.
- Maintain a positive attitude, work flexibility, promote teamwork and exhibit a professional manner with customers and co-workers.
- Experience in valve/actuator business a plus.
- Experience relating to instrumentation/automation engineering a plus
- Experience of working in multinational countries company a plus.
- Proficiency in Solid Edge 3D modelling and 2D drafting suites a plus.
- Proficiency in the AutoCAD 2D drafting suite a plus.
- Experience with Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) a plus.
- Experience with Product Data Management and ERP system a plus.
- Experience in fluid flow and pneumatics a plus.
- Experience in VB, JAVA, C++ or equivalent computer language is a plus
Skills Required
