- Contribute to designing layouts for busway systems based on customer drawings and input.
- Assist in creating product technical documentation such as catalog sheets, FAQs, technical briefs, reports, and installation instructions.
- Provide technical support to sales teams and customers, onsite or remotely as required, on topics including, but not limited to, product ratings, compliance with U.S. codes and standards, safety, functionality, customization, troubleshooting, installation, and pricing.
- Perform onsite troubleshooting and rework.
- Collaborate with certification laboratories such as UL, Intertek (ETL), and others.
- Serve as a technical liaison for the sales team.
- Perform product testing to support certifications and ratings.
- Recent graduate with a BS in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field
- Relevant electrical design experience, either in a professional or academic setting
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and skills in technical writing and communication
- Ability to travel up to 25%
Relevant internship/co-op experience preferred
- Aptitude for electrical product design and application in power distribution products
- Familiarity with the NEC, UL standards, and various North American certifications
- Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with people at all levels through verbal communication, writing, and presentations.
- Dependable and customer-focused, with a consistent approach to responsibilities.
Able to work independently, adapt to changing needs, and identify practical solutions.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to travel, including air travel
- This position may occasionally require work in manufacturing areas where personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses and mandatory hearing protection, is required.
