Job Description:
Power Electronics Applications Engineer
This is an associate level position in application/system engineering. We’re looking for an Application’s Engineer with 2-3 years experience in power electronics to assist in the design of new DCDC power modules and perform customer support functions for customers in EU and US.
Job Functions
- Research and design new DCDC power module products.
- Work with design engineers, field applications team, and marketing to verify and develop new features for DC/DC Converters.
- Provide technical support and training for EU and US customers
- Develop application-based evaluation platforms to demonstrate capabilities in real-world environments.
- Write articles, application notes, and other documentation.
Qualifications
- Entry-Level applicants welcome

- Strong system level knowledge in DC/DC converters.
- Rich hardware and bench experience in low-mid voltage environment (<60V).
- Familiar with system level simulation and analysis with SIMPLIS.
- Familiar with PCB design software such as OrCAD or Altium.
- Good to have programming experience (Python).
- Fluent communication skills in English.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated.
- Previous experience in a power supply manufacturer or power management IC company preferred
- MSEE, majored in power electronics
