How You'll Make a Difference

You'll be a trusted technical partner throughout the sales process, helping transform customer goals into practical warehouse and automation solutions. From developing high-level concepts to refining layouts, costs, and equipment selections, you'll help customers visualize what's possible while ensuring solutions are achievable, effective, and aligned with their budget and operational needs.

What You'll Do

  • Develop warehouse and material handling concepts, layouts, and system designs using tools such as AutoCAD, creating solutions that support customer goals and operational requirements.

  • Partner with sales teams and customers to evaluate requirements, explore alternatives, and recommend equipment and system configurations across conveyors, racking, sortation, automation, robotics, and related technologies.

  • Build and maintain equipment lists, budgets, and cost estimates, helping balance performance, functionality, and project cost throughout the proposal process.

  • Support technical reviews, design discussions, proposal development, and project handoffs while managing multiple opportunities in a fast-paced pre-sales environment.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Systems, Automation Engineering, or a related field, with 3+ years of experience in material handling, warehouse automation, or engineered system design.

  • Experience creating layouts and solution concepts using AutoCAD or similar CAD software; SketchUp experience is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of material handling systems, warehouse operations, equipment applications, and solution costing.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, sales teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders while balancing technical requirements, budgets, and timelines.
