Pump Applications Engineer

- Provide customer service, sales, & technical support to sales force & customers
- Work closely with sales, fabrication & vendors to facilitate the sales effort & meet customer requirements
- Evaluate customer bid requirements, specifications, & other pertinent data
- Prepare proposals using vendor software, sales catalogs & cost estimates according to technical and performance requirements
- Aid in the design & development of equipment & systems, & redesign of existing systems
- Facilitate prompt remedy of customer technical problems, complaints & failures
- Maintain organization of order files, monitor in-house orders & assist sales with project related questions
Must Have:
- 3-5 years of applicable experience, Mechanical or Process Engineer preferred
- Knowledge of centrifugal pumps, other fluid handling equipment & pumping systems
- Must be able to work independently to achieve targeted results
- Well-organized & self-motivated
- Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills
- Effective negotiating skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related experience
