Responsibilities:
- Provide design recommendations based on long-term IT organization strategy.
- Develop enterprise-level applications and custom integration solutions, including major enhancements and features.
- Utilize a variety of platforms to provide automated systems applications to customers.
- Determine specifications, plan, design, and develop complex and critical software solutions.
- Assist in resolving the most difficult support problems.
- Develop programming and development standards and procedures, as well as programming architectures for code reuse.
- Apply advanced knowledge of state-of-the-art programming languages and object-oriented approaches in designing, coding, testing, and debugging programs.
- Research and maintain knowledge in emerging technologies for potential business applications.
- Act as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor, and change agent within the organization.
Required skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in multiple IT areas with 2–3 years of relevant architecture experience.
- Advanced to expert-level knowledge in architecture, application systems design, and integration.
- Proven experience in leading multiple IT projects of high complexity.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills for junior technical staff.
