Summary:
Designs, develops, modifies, debugs and evaluates programs for functional areas, including but not limited to finance, human resources, manufacturing and marketing. Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding and tests/debugs programs. Develops conversion and system implementation plans. Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation. Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards. We are looking for a motivated QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The candidate will be responsible for manual testing, automation script execution, defect tracking, and test case management. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of HP ALM/Quality Center (HPQC), VB Scripting, testing methodologies, and automation concepts.
Key Responsibilities- Design, create, and execute test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, and Sanity Testing.
- Log, track, and verify defects using HP ALM / Quality Center (HPQC).
- Execute automation scripts developed using UFT/QTP and VB Script.
- Analyze test results and identify application defects.
- Prepare test execution reports and status updates.
- Participate in requirement reviews and understand business processes.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and QA team members.
- Maintain test documentation and test evidence.
- Support daily test execution activities and defect triage meetings.
