The Role

Position Purpose:
Administers all aspects of ServiceNow platform including configuration, maintenance, deployment, troubleshooting and resolution of technical support issues as required.

  • Provides technical support for ServiceNow components / functions in complex mission critical environments
  • Participates in implementing ServiceNow updates such as upgrades and patches, and enhancement change deployment
  • Assist with identifying solutions for ServiceNow issues
  • Plans and coordinates with key stakeholders for initial triage of issue in the production environments
  • Collaborates and interacts with ServiceNow users and key stakeholders when troubleshoot
  • Identifies and supports resolution on production problems for operational support of applications
  • Supports and work with vendor on technical issues
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Education/Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science).
Requires 2 – 4 years of related experience.
Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.
Technical Skills:

  • ServiceNow skill areas one or more of the following skills are desired:
    • Understanding and troubleshooting:
    • User interface
    • UI policies, UI actions, business rules, the script includes, data policies
    • Table & relationships
    • Field types & reference fields
    • Primary Support and troubleshooting for:
    • Users, groups, & roles
    • Incident Management
    • Problem Management
    • Change Management
    • Knowledge Management
    • Service Portal
    • Understanding and Support for:
    • Configuration Management
    • Service-Level Agreements
    • Service Catalog Management
    • System Properties
    • Events & notifications
    • Workflows and Flow Designer
    • Reporting
    • Access controls
    • Working with Update sets Run System diagnostics Impersonating users
    • Certified as ServiceNow – System Administrator (CSA)

Soft Skills:

  • Intermediate - Seeks to acquire knowledge in area of specialty
  • Intermediate - Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Intermediate - Ability to work independently

Pay Range: $30.00 - $54.03 per hour

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
