Based in Milan but supporting our SaaS division in Germany, we are looking for a full-time employee in the Applications Operations team to start as soon as possible.
Job descripiton:
- Manage and support SaaS environments based on OBS (Objectway Banking Suite), including the interfaces connecting OBS with other system
- Monitor daily and end-of-day processing to ensure smooth and reliable operations, while supporting software releases and deployments for customers.
- Work closely with the core banking development, project management and client support teams to coordinate activities and resolve issues.
- Contribute to ensuring compliance with agreed SLAs, customer requirements, internal standards and applicable regulations, as well as coordinating and performing testing activities when required.
Required Skills:
- IT background through completed studies or equivalent practical experience in IT or banking environments.
- Good knowledge of Linux and Windows Server administration.
- Good knowledge of SQL and experience working with Oracle databases.
- Experience in IT operations, software delivery and application support.
- Experience with Shell scripting and basic programming or automation skills.
- Experience working with IT infrastructure and SaaS environments, preferably in an operational or support role.
- Familiarity with service management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Good problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a structured and reliable way of working.
- Good knowledge of English.
- Willingness to occasionally work outside normal business hours or on weekends to complete special tasks.

- The salary range for this position is €35,000 – €45,000.
This compensation complies with the pay transparency requirements set out in EU Directive 2023/970.

Skills Required
- Completed studies or equivalent practical IT or banking training
- Solid knowledge of Linux operating system administration
- Solid knowledge of Windows Server administration
- Solid knowledge of ANSI SQL
- Experience with Oracle database administration
- Experience working with data centres, including infrastructure setup and operation
- Solid knowledge of shell scripting
- Experience with one or more programming languages: Python, Perl, C, C++, or Java
- Experience in IT support, software packaging, and software delivery systems
- Understanding of automation, continuous integration, and build tools
- Experience with service desk tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented approach
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
