Summary:
This position works in a deep level technical environment, resolving and providing solutions to customer problems. They identify, design and develop solutions for product and system problems. They communicate with internal and external organizations to resolve problems whilst maintaining full ownership. The successful candidate works in a fast-paced environment and will be required to be a part of an on-call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays. 

Shift:
Monday through Friday from 8a to 5p ET.

Location (Wilmington, NC, Austin, TX, Remote):
We have offices in Wilmington, NC and Austin, TX and while some positions are office based, we will also consider remote candidates in our preferred time zones of CST/EST.
 

Responsibilities: 

  • Ability to start and investigate issues outside of familiar technical areas with minimal assistance.
  • Problem Solving/Decision Making.
  • Communications skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to communicate detailed points to relevant audiences. 
  • Required to document investigation details and path clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to learn about our solution in order to gain the technical acumen and solutions knowledge to extract and request relevant details as part of investigation.
  • Recreation of issues as required, ensuring vital and relevant details are recorded.
  • Ability to research problems with no known solutions and design solutions for identified problems.
  • Ability to analyze relevant logs and tracing and extract relevant details and understand the relationship of the details. 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant industry experience.
  • Ideal candidate has knowledge of banking and experience in a support role.
  • 2-4 years of experience in retail- customer supporting roles.   
  • Understanding of SQL and experience with independent research. 
  • Work in a fast paced environment and use critical thinking to prioritize.   
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Create documentation and flow charts to improve existing processes or define new ones. 
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification.
