We are seeking a skilled and experienced Application Support Senior Engineer to join our integration team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Boomi, event-driven architecturesAWS, and ETL tools such as Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), Matillion or equivalent experience. Experience with AWS GlueKafka, and Snowflake is a plus.

This role requires a strategic problem solver with deep technical depth, a passion for innovation, and problem-solving abilities. You will handle integration processes and maintain a customer-first attitude to ensure minimal business disruption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain integration solutions between cloud and on-premises applications (e.g., Salesforce, Workday, SAP).
  • Administer and monitor Boomi Atoms, connectors, and process schedules.
  • Analyse Boomi process logs and error messages to identify and resolve integration issues.
  • Respond to incidents, prioritize based on impact, and bring up when necessary.
  • Collaborate with application owners, developers, and business users to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical customers.
  • Support change management activities, including testing and deploying new or updated integrations.
  • Ensure all changes align with governance and compliance protocols.
  • Record and share incident details, solutions, and operational procedures to support team knowledge.
  • Find opportunities for process improvements and automation.
  • Proactively monitor integration processes for performance and failures.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 7 - 9 years of proven expertise in Boomi, event-driven architecture, and the AWS ecosystem.
  • Good experience in designing, developing, and deploying integration processes using Boomi AtomSphere.
  • Proficiency with Boomi connectors (HTTP, SOAP, REST, JDBC, SFTP, Workday etc.).
  • Familiarity with XML, JSON, SQL, JavaScript, and Groovy scripting.
  • Good understanding of API development and web services architecture.
  • Experience with error handling, exception management, and logging in Boomi.
  • Solid understanding of integration patterns (ETL, real-time, batch).
  • Working knowledge of ETL tools such as Matillion or IICS.
  • Experience monitoring Boomi integrations using dashboards and alerts.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of effective partner engagement.
  • Proficiency in AWS API Gateway and AWS hosting services.
  • Self-starter with solid organizational, research, and learning skills; able to prioritize tasks effectively.
