Application Support Senior Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Application Support Senior Analyst for its Tampa, FL location.

Duties: Provide technical support to Citi users including troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and resolving problems. Configure and maintain the system including testing and implementing system changes and updates. Collaborate with other teams and departments such as development, testing, and project management to ensure effective system operation and support. Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvement or optimization. Develop and maintain system documentation including procedures and user guides. Participate in system testing, validation, and implementation of projects. Provide training and support to users including new employee onboarding and ongoing training and development. Provide technical solutions and liaise with the Operations business during critical production outages while managing remediation tasks following outages to avoid repeat failures. Work with the Development and Release teams to ensure robust software implementations. Create innovative solutions and proactive approaches to optimizing processes. Effectively communicate issues and status updates with business users, second level support, and development teams. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computing and Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation in the financial services industry. Five (5) years of experience must include: Analyzing data integrity using SQL queries and data analysis tools including Tableau, AppDynamics, Power BI and Kibana to identify areas for improvement; Utilizing Unix commands to analyze production logs for errors, monitor the disk space utilization, and troubleshoot production incidents by investigating the logs in Linux machines; Monitoring and scheduling jobs in job schedulers including Autosys; Monitoring and configuring alerts in monitoring tools including ITRS; Programming language skills in Java to debug production issues related to ETD trade processing and Shell scripting ability to automate alerts for batch monitoring, automate cleanup of system files to save disk space and alert support in case of any issues; and Writing complex SQL queries to pull reports from multiple tables in databases including Oracle and Sybase for ETD for specific reports required for finance teams by converting the business ask into technical details and by identifying the interrelations between various tables. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree and three (3) years of experience. Employer will accept pre- or post- Master’s degree experience. 40 hrs./wk.
