About the Role
iCapital is looking to hire a professional to join the Platform Operations team. As Vice President, you'll lead a specialized team responsible for onboarding and maintaining document flows from fund administrators to our platform, ensuring seamless access for investors and advisors.
The investor document platform is not just a feature it's a core value proposition of iCapital’s platform that directly impacts client satisfaction and platform adoption. This individual will have the opportunity to build and scale an operation that processes millions of financial documents while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, security, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Document Center, aligning with company growth objectives and client needs.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of technical specialists and data analysts.
- Create scalable processes that can handle rapid growth while maintaining operational excellence.
- Establish and optimize the administrator onboarding process, from initial engagement through technical integration and ongoing operations.
- Implement metrics, dashboards, and reporting to provide visibility into operational performance.
- Develop and enforce service level agreements for document processing and availability.
- Partner with the Product and Engineering teams to enhance document processing systems.
- Lead technical integration efforts with fund administrators, addressing complex data mapping and transformation challenges.
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems to identify and resolve data breaks.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to set appropriate expectations and timelines for onboarding.
- Drive administrator adoption and engagement through education and partnership.
- Work with the Product teams to translate operational insights into platform enhancements.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in fintech, financial services, or SaaS operations
- 5+ years managing complex operational teams with technical components
- Proven track record of scaling operations in high-growth environments
- Experience in managing relationships with enterprise clients or partners
- Background in financial document processing, data operations, or related fields a plus
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex data flows and integrations
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience building and mentoring teams
- Strategic thinking balanced with hands-on operational problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex operations into business impact
Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $140,000 to $180,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. Employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes an employer matched retirement plan, generously subsidized healthcare with 100% employer paid dental, vision, telemedicine, and virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).
We believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together. Employees in this role will work in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday.
