- Act as the primary internal point of contact with the application vendor for Korean REPO and Bond platforms.
- Maintain a strong working relationship with the vendor's support team, ensuring timely issue resolution.
- Participate in vendor review calls and follow up on agreed actions.
- Provide L2 escalation support to the Seoul end-user support team, ensuring seamless issue management.
- Enforce and adhere to BGC's change control framework for platform changes and upgrades.
- Log, prioritize, and manage support tickets for the Korean platforms, ensuring timely resolution.
- Own incidents from triage to post-incident review, following ITIL-based incident management.
- Proactively monitor and identify gaps in coverage for Korean REPO and Bond platform components.
- Develop and maintain deep knowledge of Korean REPO and Bond market conventions and trade lifecycles.
- Identify and escalate operational risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in application support, preferably in financial services or fintech.
- Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and provide effective support.
- Experience with ITIL or equivalent incident/change management frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in both Korean and English.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a proactive approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global, diverse team.
- Understanding of trading platforms, middle-office systems, and market data is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
