What You Will Get to Do: 

  • Incident response for production hosted environments 

  • Monitor application and infrastructure performance to ensure stability and availability.  

  • Respond to and resolve production incidents quickly, performing root cause analysis where necessary.  

  • Execute deployments and configuration changes in production and non-production environments following change management processes.  

  • Communicate effectively with development, operations, and business teams to provide updates and coordinate resolutions.  

  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, fixes, and operational procedures while identifying opportunities for process improvement. 

  • Interpret business requirements, technical designs, and flow charts to build, maintain, and enhance software applications.  
  • Develop and modify application code, ensuring quality, performance, and security best practices are met.
  • Translate business functional models into technical specifications, including cyber security considerations.
  • Test applications and produce technical documentation to support ongoing development and maintenance

What You Will Bring:  

  • IT degree, or equivalent experience 

  • 4+ years’ experience working in an Application Support role 

  • Solid understanding of DevOps practices and methods 

  • Working knowledge of SDLC principles and methodologies 

  • Experience working with ITIL based processes 

  • Understanding of hosting production environments on AWS and Virtual Environments 

  • Advanced knowledge of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery build pipelines 

  • Experience working with infrastructure as code 

  • A passion for automating manual processes
