Octopus by RTG is hiring for a reputable insurance company with headquarters in Riyadh a skilled Application Support Engineer to join the team.
Overview
Provide technical assistance and support for business applications used within an organization. Ensure optimal application performance, user satisfaction, and compliance. Application Support specialist collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to address application issues, drive continuous improvement, and optimize system performance.
Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring smooth operation of critical business applications in addition to manage relationship with different business teams to provide all needed support to fix their issue with IT systems within SLA and work with all related IT teams to solve any system issue might impact business.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in application support
- Strong PL\SQL Skills
- knowledge of ITSM frameworks and best practices, such as ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library)
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- ITIL certifications, such as ITIL Foundation, Service Operation, or Service Transition, are preferred.
